Digital Health Engineer

Your mission
Shape the digital dimension of bioelectronic medicine. You’ll bridge the physical and digital worlds of neuromodulation. 

Your mission: prototype patient- and clinician-facing apps, build data capture and analytics workflows, and connect digital solutions to our implant technology. You’ll translate user insights into functional prototypes and validate digital workflows. Defining how data, devices, and users interact across Salvia’s growing digital health ecosystem. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role for someone who thrives on pragmatic innovation, collaboration, and early-stage prototyping that shapes future medical products.
Your Responsibilities
  • Drive the early development of Salvia’s digital health products.
  • Prototype mobile and wearable applications for patients and clinicians, integrated with secure back-end services.
  • Translate spoken and unspoken user needs into intuitive software concepts and UX designs.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Usability teams to ensure technical and user alignment.
  • Build reference data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and visualization of physiological data.
  • Deliver handover materials including UX flows, data models, APIs, and a working reference stack.
Your profile
  • A pragmatic, collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Experience developing apps for mobile platforms (smartphones, smartwatches, or wearables).
  • Strong affinity with user experience and interaction design.
  • MSc or BSc inIndustrial Design,Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have: 
  • Experience with regulated software development (medical, automotive, or aerospace).
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth Low Energy, secure data capture, signal/time-series processing, or basic ML.
  • Understanding of ISO 13485, cybersecurity, and GDPR-aware design principles.
