Collaborative Innovation Manager

Your mission
Connect innovation, funding, and impact. 

You will be the driving force connecting innovation, collaboration, and grant funding. 
You’ll identify and shape opportunities for EU and US collaborative projects, build strong relationships across industry and academia, and translate ideas into winning multi-partner proposals. 
Once funded, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in full alignment with our clinical and product development roadmap. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on coordination – ideal for someone who thrives on bridging science, technology, and partnerships in a mission-driven company.
Your Responsibilities
  • Map the collaborative funding landscape across EU and US programs, identifying opportunities aligned with Salvia’s roadmap. 
  • Develop competitive proposals, including storyboarding, consortium building, budgeting, and risk management. 
  • Coordinate ongoing projects with partners, track milestones, ensure compliance, and prepare high-quality technical and financial reports. 
  • Collaborate with R&D and Clinical teams to identify new collaboration opportunities in future product generations, digital health, and clinical research. 
  • Represent Salvia in consortia and innovation networks, keeping internal stakeholders aligned on scope, risks, and outcomes. 
  • Maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities with clear go/no-go recommendations. 
  • Manage current projects such as XECS, IHI, EICA, Chips JU, OP-Zuid, and Eurostars, ensuring timely coordination and reporting to agencies including RVO, Stimulus, and the EU. 
Your profile
  • MSc or PhD inEngineering, Biomedical Sciences, ora relateddiscipline.
  • Proventrack recordingrant acquisition, networking, and multi-party project management.
  • Familiarity with programs such asIHI,Xecs,Eurostars, NIH, Chips JU, and regional/national schemes.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder, able to translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive proposals.
  • Structured, proactive, and passionate about driving innovation in healthcare technology.
Nice to have: 
  • Experience with implantable medical devicesdigital health, or clinical studies.
  • Prior collaboration with funding agencies such as RVO, Stimulus, or the European Commission.
