At Salvia BioElectronics BV in Eindhoven, we offer a challenging and varied position as Equipment & Tooling Technician (Medical Devices). In this role, you will work closely with Operations, R&D, and Quality, supporting our engineers in setting up, calibrating, maintaining, and improving advanced production equipment and tools. You will be the first point of contact for equipment-related issues and play a key role in keeping our manufacturing line running reliably. 
Your Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service tooling and equipment used in production and R&D.
  • Perform equipment calibrations, maintenance, and qualification routines (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Ensure all documentation is in order: equipment records, calibration logs, maintenance reports.
  • Support and train production employees in the efficient use of specific tools and machines.
  • Partner with engineering on process improvements and scalability of operations.
  • Act as first-line support for troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
Your profile
  • Completed MBO diploma in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical role (equipment maintenance, calibration, or tooling).
  • Skilled in the setup, optimization, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom environments (Class 7 or lower) is preferred.
  • Experience in medical device assembly (e.g. silicone molding, interconnect technologies) is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Organized, structured, and accurate in your work.
  • A team player with a can-do mindset, but also able to work independently.
  • Motivated to grow with a scale-up company and help build scalable production processes.
